The First XV are currently in Yorkshire 2, and bidding to go better this season after the mixed fortunes of last season. Fielding a predominantly young side has reaped substantial dividends in terms of their enthusiasm, and commitment to training, and the presence of a handful of crucial old hands gives the squad a good balance.
