Race Night
On the 13th March The Merovingians have organized a Race Night in the clubhouse to provide a post match evening of entertaining racing and raise funds for both the Merovingians tour and Pocklington Rugby Forward appeal.
Everyone is welcome, both players and non-players, junior parents or friends or members of the public. The race night gets underway at 8 pm, after the day's matches which are scheduled to be the 1st XV at home to Doncaster Phoenix in Yorkshire Two, the Panthers at Mallton and the Meros at home to Withernsea.
The night includes eight races to gamble on and food is provided. Those with horse owner tickets have a chance to win prizes within the first seven races, depending on what your horse achieves. The last race will involve an open horse auction.
